FORMER Blackburn Rovers player Dave Whelan has netted another big profit from his JBB Sports retail chain. He made a cool £1.8 million from selling shares in the sports equipment chain he started in his home town of Wigan in the 1960's. The money comes on top of the £13.5 million he made when JBB was floated on the stock exchange last November and he still holds 36 per cent of the shares. Mr Whelan's playing career ended when he broke his leg during the 1960 FA Cup final against Wolves.
