POLICE are trying to trace a teenage mother who has left home to join a travelling fair.

Sabrina Simpson, 16, was last seen at her mother's home in Como Avenue, Burnley, a week ago.

She left saying she was going to try to get a job with a travelling fair, which was in Accrington.

She left her recently born daughter with her grandmother.

Sabrina is 5ft 11ins tall, slim with short dark brown hair.

When last seen she was wearing a cream coloured coat, dark trousers and trainers.

Detective Sergeant Sam Birtwell said: "Her mother is obviously very concerned about her and we want her to get in touch and let us and her family know she is safe and well.''

Police are looking for Ian Greenwood, 29, who left a residential home in Outwood Road, Burnley, on Saturday saying he was going to Preston shopping. He is 6ft 2ins tall and was wearing a green and blue anorak, check shirt, bottle green cord trousers and black shoes.
