THE parent company of Burnley air filter manufacturer Interfilta has announced a 42 per cent increase in operating profit for the group's air filtration businesses worldwide.
In the year ending September 30, profits rose from £2.2 to £3.1 million and Interfilta UK boosted sales by 13 per cent to £7.1 million over the same period.
Interfilta's managing director, Clive Holt, said: "The market is still very tough but we are now benefiting from investment in new production plant.
"Regular filter changes are good for Interfilta and good for the people working within those buildings."
