BURNLEY Enterprise Trust has welcomed two new members of staff to its busy team as business and employment advisors.

Nelson man Afzaal Mahmood, 23, formerly worked as a petrol station manager in Accrington.

He says he is looking forward to helping people in high unemployment areas.

Shabnum Hussain, 21, from Blackburn, owned and ran a community catering business before joining the trust.

She is involved in community work in her spare time.

Welcome to new staff BLACKBURN accountants Waterworth Rudd and Hare have welcomed three new members of staff.

Suzanne Lomax, from Oswaldtwistle, has been appointed manager in the audit department after spending eight years with international accountants KPMG at their Manchester office.

Neil Greenwood, who worked as a tax inspector for the Inland Revenue, has joined the personal tax and trust department and Judith Ridd has joined the administration staff assisting the personal tax and trust department.

£50m responsibility! NEIL Mattack will be Girobank's sales manager for Burnley from January 1, with overall responsibility for continuing cash handling sales development from companies with turnovers between £1 million and £50 million.

He will also be responsible for promoting the bank's international banking services within the Burnley area.

Michelle's in the ink... WOLSTENHOLME International of Darwen has appointed Michelle Davis as area sales manager for the company's ink division. Michelle will be responsible for sales of the company's offset metallic inks to ink manufacturers in the southern region.
