NEIGHBOURS have lost their fight to stop alterations at a childrenswear factory, which they claim is noisy.
Blackburn Council planning and highways committee was told noise claims were being investigated at UK Fashions' premises behind 4-10 Juniper Street, Blackburn.
Officers are also looking at claims that the factory is working outside permitted hours of 8am to 6pm.
Both matters, however, had no bearing on the application for building works, councillors were told, who gave the go-ahead for the alterations.
