IWOULD simply like to thank Ian Coogan (Letters, January 15) for proving my point that some dangerous dogs have totally irresponsible owners.
He is one of the "intelligent, obedient and affectionate" breed of people that does not think the dogs responsible for the death of David Kearney should have been destroyed.
Also, his use of the phrase "brain dead" in this context gives a whole new dimension to the concept of insensitivity.
