THREE goals in the opening 20 minutes left Accrington Stanley facing only their second away defeat of the season in the UniBond Premier Division.

Frickley took the lead after eight minutes when Scott Armstrong struck a first time shot past Rob Mulloy.

Five minutes later Mark Dempsey played the ball to Glyn Yates who scored.

Stanley's woeful defending continued as Frickley added a third goal. Phil Taylor's shot was blocked on the line by Chris Molloy but was not cleared and Armstrong scored his second goal. In the second half Justin Dickinson missed two good chances to increase Frickley's lead but the Reds did pull a goal back on 69 minutes when substitute Mark Rawstron was fouled in the penalty area and Darren Quick converted the penalty.

Frickley's fourth goal, and their best, came on 75 minutes, Dempsey starting and finishing the move with a fierce 20 yard shot past Mulloy.

Stanley will be hoping to return to winning ways tomorrow night when they travel to Radcliffe Borough for their ATS Trophy replay.
