THE ARMY in the North West today unveiled its plans to deal with deaths and casualties from the Gulf conflict. And they issued a simple message to families "Remember, no news is good news."
The Army at their Preston base had a direct line to the Gulf and, in a statement issued today, said: "If the worst does happen, the next of kin will receive a personal visit from an Army officer not an old style telegraph."
