JUST what does it take to bring down the monarchy?
We have a never-ending saga of corruption in its ranks at the present.
But worse than that, we are told that in the war years, ex-King Edward collaborated with Adolf Hitler throughout.
He should have been hanged for treason. But, alas, it was all covered up and he survived to live out his life in idle luxury - and the trend has continued.
