MUSICAL maestro Clare Holden, of Darwen, has impressed examiners after gaining a near perfect 99 per cent mark in her music theory exams.
Clare, 13, a pupil at the Dendor School of Music, Hoddlesden, attained the honours mark in her grade one theory exam.
Ruth Ward, 11, also passed the exam with 87 per cent.
