AGE Concern in Hyndburn is on the look-out for old or unwanted tools to help equip volunteer handymen.
The charity has teamed up with British Gas to launch a handy person service which covers the cost of carrying out minor maintenance and repairs around the home, excluding materials.
Barbara Hopkinson, chief executive of Age Concern Hyndburn, said: "We are very grateful to all of the volunteers who have offered their time, skills and abilities."
Anyone who has tools of any description they would like to pass on can call into the Whalley Road office in Accrington.
Or they can telephone 01254 871010.
