SOCCER sponsors can watch Accrington Stanley and get all steamed up . . . but the windows won't.
On cold days, officials and guests were having trouble seeing the game through the steamy windows of the sponsors' lounge.
But the answer was found when club patrons Victoria Glass, of Accrington, invited Conservatory Coloured Glass, Blackburn, to watch a match
"It was a freezing cold night when we went to watch the game but we couldn't see anything because the windows kept steaming up," said Dave Bradshaw, of Conservatory Coloured Glass.
"We thought we would return the favour by installing some Pilkington K surface-treated glass, which mirrors the heat of the room and doesn't get steamed up.
"We got a letter back from the club to say that they could now watch the games from the sponsors' lounge and they were over the moon. It was nice to be able to help."
