ROSE Ragnall was in the pink when she became the first person in the country to benefit from a new computerised insurance service.
Rose, from Blackburn, received a magnum of champagne from Guardian UK's business development manager Jon Morrell at Daren Insurance Brokers in Ewood.
Daren Insurance are the first brokers in the country to use 'Polaris' which has been developed by seven major UK insurers, including Guardian, Norwich Union and Eagle Star.
The idea is to speed up the insurance process and remove the need for lots of paper shuffling between brokers and the main insurance company.
Daren's own system was also adapted by Burnley firm Grapevine Softwear Ltd to make it more compatible with Polaris.
