A PUBLIC footpath where a student was assaulted, is set to be relocated into Thompson Park, Burnley.
The original right of way to the park went from Shorey Bank through the Burnley College campus site and, last November, a student was assaulted on the path.
Members of the recreation and leisure committee were told the new access, from Ormerod Road, would involve the felling of five mature trees, one lime and the others sycamore.
