TO HELP local businesses on the road to success a new initiative has been launched by chartered accountants in Bury.
Chartered Accountants for Enterprise aims to ensure that those who are already running businesses, or who are about to start out in business, receive sound financial advice from a qualified professional.
They have produced an Enterprise Register which lists chartered accountants in the area who are offering free advice to business start-ups.
An information pack provides business support agencies and other advisers with a complete guide to the services provided by a chartered accountant.
Co-ordinator Ian Richardson said: "We believe that our commitment to providing sound advice to local businessmen and business advisers is a step in the right direction"
