FROM April this year, the financial help older people can get who live in care homes has changed and more will now be able to claim assistance for paying home fees, because of changes on how savings and occupational pensions may be treated.
Counsel and Care has produced a fact sheet which clearly explains the help you get to pay a residential or care home fee.
