A PARTY with family and friends will round off diamond wedding celebrations for a Darwen couple today.
May and Richard Coward, of Thorncliffe Nursing Home, Astley Bank, Darwen, married 60 years ago at Blackburn Register Office.
The couple lived in Gillibrand Street before moving to Oaksfield and then the home.
May, 83, worked as a weaver and Richard, 84, was a caretaker at Darwen Co-op.
The anniversary couple have two sons, Brian and Barry and three grandchildren.
