I HOPE that one of your readers may be able to help me locate members of the Mitchell family who used to live at 14, Bury Road, Rawtenstall.
On behalf of cousins in New Zealand, I am trying to contact Andy or Ruth Mitchell, or their son James (Jim) Mitchell, or daughter Ann, who all lived at that address until 1970, when they moved away, and lost touch with their NZ relations.
The son, James, would now be aged about 50, and his parents in their 70s. Ruth Mitchell's mother (a Mrs Evans) also lived at 14, Bury Road at some stage prior to her death in 1960. Ruth Mitchell's sister is Marjorie (Madge) Cookson, who is married to Jack Cookson.
If any readers have any news on any members of this family since 1970, or know of their present whereabouts, I would be very grateful to hear from them.
