ANYONE from the Leigh area who has been helped by the After Adoption agency in Manchester is being asked to dip into their pocket and return past favours.

The Chapel Street HQ of the adoption charity, which offers support and help to thousands of people a year, has been hit by the shock waves of the Manchester bomb.

It has devastated refurbishment plans after suspended ceilings and windows were blown in.

The charity now says it needs urgent funding to pay for the £300,000 cost of completing the work on their new centre.

Director of After Adoption Maureen Crank said: "I appeal to anyone who has been helped by our charity to consider making a donation to our Building Appeal.

"I also appeal to business and charity trust for their help so we can recover from what has been a major setback."

Anyone who can help is asked to write to After Adoption, 12-14 Chapel Street, Manchester M3 7NN or call them on 0161-839-4932.
