THE musical talents of a Fylde singer-songwriter will be put to good use next Tuesday (October 1) when he records a song in aid of animal rights.

Ronnie Brock will travel to the Rich Bitch studios in Birmingham and join forces with 40 models from the Adage agency to lay down the track entitled I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear A Fur.

He then plans to have it played at fashion shows and catwalks around the world in a bid to raise as much money as possible.

Ronnie, who lives in Lime Grove, St Annes, was spurred into action when he saw the original anti-fur campaign which was supported by the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell.

He said: "I saw it on CNN and was impressed by the likes of Naomi, earning £1,000-£10,000 a day, who were refusing to wear fur clothes on the catwalks.

"Charity work is my forte and this a good cause to support because it's wrong to kill animals."

And if Ronnie's previous record is anything to go by this latest project is sure to be a winner.

In the past he has recorded songs for Ecstasy drug victim Leah Betts and worked on one for the Roy Castle Cause For Hope appeal with the likes of Brian May and other stars.

So how does he feel about sharing the limelight with countless glamorous models this time around?

"Well, like they say, it's tough at the top," he joked.
