PAUL FLEURY is fighting a fitness battle as Blackburn Hawks prepare for a top-of-the-table tussle with Fife Flyers on Sunday.

Fleury, skipper of the Lancashire ice hockey aces, is struggling with a broken finger, but could still make it.

Another broken finger casualty, net-minder Trevor Foster, is definitely out of contention.

Hawks expect a bumper crowd on Sunday against the high-flying Flyers who currently top the Northern Premier League table.
