COULD any of your readers help me with the following information.
During the war I was stationed at RAF Padgate, near Warrington. One day an American Mohawk plane crashed in a farmer's field, and myself and other airmen were put on guard over this plane. The field it landed on belonged to the Old Mill Farm.
The farmer once played for Leigh RLFC, so can anyone help me?
