TO us, a Guy Fawkes' Night bonfire is for burning, but, for a hedgehog, it looks like the ideal place to make a nest. Unfortunately, it does not hang a sign outside to say it is in there.
Before you light your bonfire, please check carefully to make sure there is not a sleepy hedgehog hidden in all the debris. A little care beforehand might just prevent your happy fireworks night from turning into a disaster.
