REGARDING your article, 'Minister hits out at politicians' (LET, March 1), our children must be taught in childhood the basic Christian principle: 'Love one another' and all that goes with it.
We all need to take an hour or two out of our busy lives to go and meet other Christians (regardless of denomination) and just relax, chat to the Lord and let him put us back together again.
We need to bring the joy of knowing Jesus to those who don't know what they are missing.
We need to stop being wary of announcing our beliefs and get away from the old social taboo of 'Never discuss religion or politics' and stand up for what we believe in.
We need to stop limiting our ideas to church magazines and have regular columns in daily newspapers.
