I DISAGREE strongly with G Pilkington's complaint (Letters, March 1) about post offices offering non-postal services.
They give a great service, especially now with the closing of gas and electricity shops all over the place.
Their friendly service is a boon to pensioners and the disabled.
If all Mr Pilkington has to get annoyed about is waiting in a queue, he should consider himself lucky.
GLADYS ROBINSON (Mrs), Edge End, Great Harwood.
