BESIEGED Rovers officials defended their ticket-selling policy after angry fans queued for hours only to be turned away empty-handed. Tickets for an important play-off tie went on sale to season ticket holders and the public, but club officials restricted sales only to season ticket holders because of demand.
Traffic problems became so bad that police appealed on local radio for fans to stay away.
