THE luxury liner QE2 was sailing back to her home port of Southampton with 1,500 passengers after her troublesome maiden voyage to the US following a £110 million refit.
The Cunard ship arrived in America with passengers complaining of poor conditions on board and a lack of facilities. Passengers, who said cabins had been flooded, swimming pools were not available and food was poor, were all offered a 40% refund.
