A GREEK adventure awaits ten young people taking part in an international exchange scheme.
The group from Roman Road Estate, Blackburn, is preparing to jet off to Thessalonika as part of the joint initiative between Youth Works and Roman Road Community Association.
The exchange kicks off with a week-long visit from a Greek party at the end of the month.
Later on in the year the hospitality will be returned when the Blackburn groups heads off to sunshine country.
Youth Works officer Gwilym Hall said: "The exchange will give the young people a chance to explore a foreign country, experience a whole different way of life and improve their own skills.
"It is a terrific project and a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of the young people involved."
The scheme is supported by Whitbread in the Community, Blackburn Borough Council and the European Union.
