THE DUCHESS of York was returning from holiday following a split from her husband.
She jetted into London with her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugene, from a holiday in South East Asia. As she drove home to Sunninghill Park, she gave no indication of a reconciliation with the Duke of York.
Labour lost out in East Lancashire as voters stayed at home for the local elections.
