WITH regard to K Watson's remarks in "'Hairy' journeys in my invalid car." (Letters, July I), I am in a similar position and agree with all that was said about travelling about.
There are some very high kerbs and this entails planning your journey to find the best route. Councils should consider the difficulties of the disabled a little more. I have found that most motorists are very courteous and give way when you are waiting to cross a road.
