TEENAGER Kelly Jones was left heartbroken after thieves stole her pet rabbit and guinea pig.
The night time raiders broke into the family's shed in Carr Road, Darwen, and took a mountain bike belonging to Kelly's 14-year-old brother Stuart, a garden strimmer and tools.
But, not content with that, they also stole George, a three-year-old rabbit and Rosie, a five-year-old guinea pig, from hutches in the back yard.
Another guinea pig was left behind but the family later found Rosie dead in a field nearby.
Kelly's father Glen said: "I think they've noticed the animals after breaking into the shed.
"I don't know why they've done this unless they are stealing rabbits to order."
The Jones family are offering a small reward for information leading to the safe return of George, a brown, lop-earred rabbit.
