PORTICO Panthers won the annual Haresfinch seven-a-side competition beating Blackbrook 16-8 in a close-fought final. Earlier, the Panthers had beaten the host club in the semi-final after a preliminary section win over Brook and a drawn game against Bold Miners. In the other preliminary section Haydock emerged victorious after wins over Parkside and Haresfinch before going down in the semi-final to Blackbrook.
