A NETBALL squad have thrown down the gauntlet: "Play us if you dare." The challenge comes from staff at Queens Park Leisure Centre, who recently took part in a "mixed netball" competition involving nine other teams from across the North West. The team, nicknamed the Stall Bandits, was captained by Barbara Monk, who said: "It was a fantastic event to be involved in and everyone enjoyed it, even though some of the lads took some time to under stand bodily contact is not allowed. Anyone interested in taking on the leisure centre team at mixed netball should contact Barbara on 22339.
