REGARDING Mrs V Wood's comments on Bonny Baby competitions (Letters, July 13), I understand her point of view, but I wonder what the babies think of it all. Do they feel that it's a great day out in the company of those of a similar age? Or is it all a dreadful bore, and the sooner Mummy takes us away from all these noisy children, the better? Either way, the mothers still love their offspring, and are proud of them.
If anybody is going to feel rejected, it is the mother, whose blood may well boil at what seems an unfair decision on the part of the judges.
