LANCASTER City manager Gordon Raynor is looking forward to seeing his new signings in action as the pre-season friendlies kick off this week.
New boys Charlie Boyd, Gary Worthington and Ian Dring are settling into the squad and Raynor is tinkering with the balance of his first team to get things just right for the season proper.
Said Raynor: "I'm very pleased with the attitude of the players so far and they are looking forward to the games ahead."
Rumours are rife that Manchester United's Ryan Giggs just might appear at the Gaint Axe for the pre-season friendly.
The Welsh wizard has not joined his team mates on a Far Eastern tour and, because he is personally sponsored by City's backers, Reebok, he might just turn up at the Axe with or without his boots.
There are still a few tickets left for the match available from the Giant Axe priced £5/£3.
