Clock, Odyssey, Jimmy Ruffin.....the list goes on as Morecambe gears up for this year's Summerbreeze at the weekend. It's a festival of jazz, soul and funk with 151 musicians in 23 acts and international headline names. Here's a brief itinerary of the line-up this weekend: Friday night kicks off with Europe's No 1 Michael Jackson, alias Mikki Jay - with renditions of Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and Billie Jean - in the festival launch party at the Broadway Hotel. Saturday starts early with the Lancaster Royal Grammar School Big Band and Marmaduke from noon until 1pm. The afternoon scene runs with Peter Sefiani, Betty's Blues, Band From Uncle and The John McGough Trio. Long into the evening there's music from KB Soul, Clock and the Odyssey. Recover from all that and you'll be ready for another prompt start at noon on Sunday. The day looks like this: Lancaster Community Music Centre Showband, Shakira, No Dodo, The Hustle and Stuff Like That. Watch the sun go down and chill with sounds from Cleopatra, Gwen Dickey and Jimmy Ruffin.
