AN 18-month-old baby boy is believed to have drowned in the garden pond of a house in the Stokes Hall Avenue area of Leyland.
Police say the child was in the care of relatives while his parents were at work.
He was taken to Chorley Hospital at around 12.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) but died in casualty. The coroner is currently investigating.
