Kev Seed's crazy column

Pictures recently appeared in the press of Ginger Spice on the set of her new film wearing a pair of unbelievably high buffalo boots.

These things are so far off the ground she has to wear a warning light on top of her head for low-flying aircraft.

The boots actually cost £99.90, so even if you like the Buffalo Boots, you won't be too happy about the Buffalo Bill!

Police in Hampshire want 10 hairy six-foot bearded men for an identity parade. I take it that means men who are six feet tall and have beards, and not men with six-foot beards.

The biggest problem is trying to find a desk sergeant who can sign them all in without having nightmares for a month.

Thinking about this, if they can't get 10 six-foot men with beards, they could always get 10 clean-shaven guys and keep them in custody for six weeks.

This week in 1990, a scheme selling organically produced Green Top milk was a great success. I once had a milkman who delivered blue top. That wasn't the colour of the lid, he was just extremely slow.

I see that Robin Gibb says he wrote the Bee Gees hit Stayin' Alive on his airline boarding pass. Isn't it nice to know someone's got such confidence in our planes.

German research says couples are most likely to row on the third day of a holiday.

A thick mate of mine read this and asked his wife if they could set off four days late. She declined and they had an argument which lasted a week.

Last weekend I was out for dinner with Mark Owen from Take That.

I have asked him to pop in on the show so, providing he can find a space in his busy diary, he will and I'll run another superb Citizen competition for readers to meet him.
