BRIERFIELD "newsgirl" Margaret Bentham retired after working 19 years in the same newsagent's shop.
Margaret had seen five different owners come and go at the Burnley Road shop, and big changes in the newspaper world. Shop owner Don Hudson said: "She must have ink in her veins. Margaret is part and parcel of Brierfield and will be missed by us and all our customers."
