PROMOTED Leigh RMI have come up with a novel season ticket share scheme for soccer and Rugby League fans at Hilton Park.

Season tickets for RMI's challenge in the UniBond Premier Division are now on sale.

And RMI officials have struck a deal with Leigh RL boss Mick Higgins for a two-way discount scheme.

Any fan purchasing an RMI ticket will be eligible for a 10 per cent discount on a Leigh RL season ticket for next season - and the reverse arrangement will apply.

RMI season tickets cost £70 (adult) and £35 (concessions), a considerable saving on the £4 admission price. The tickets cover 21 home matches and all reserve games.

Tickets can be ordered by calling Alan Leach on 01204-699656 or 01942-743743.

LEIGH stars of yesteryear helped make the first Junior Supporters Club Challenge a resounding success.

Players like Mick Martyn, Brian Fallon, Brian Brooks and Joe Hosking worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth afternoon.

And the current crop of Hilton Park favourites, led by Norman Turley, were on hand for an enthusiastic game of tick 'n pass.

Teams completed in some highly-competitive rugby with Leigh winning ahead of Rochdale, Swinton and Wigan.
