A KNIFE-WIELDING young thug approached a boy at the back of a pub threatened him and demanded cash.

The 11-year-old was targeted by the culprit on Tom Benson Way, Preston, at around 8pm on August 8.

Shocked but unhurt the boy - who had no money - managed to run away and raise the alarm.

His assailant was a white male, about 13, 5ft, with fair hair, and was wearing blue jeans.

A PERVERT exposed himself to a woman who was waiting at a bus stop on a busy main road.

The man struck around 9.40pm on August 8 as the woman was stood on Blackpool Road, Preston.

He was white, 6ft, 35-40, with long grey hair, a slim build and haggard appearance and was wearing a long sleeved white shirt and grey trousers.

THIEVES stole a woman's handbag from her car as she was loading shopping into her boot outside a superstore.

The pair took the bag, which contained personal items, cash and bank cards, at 2.45pm on July 29 from Morrisons, Riversway, Preston.

They were described as white males aged 16-17. One had red hair and glasses and the other was very tall with blond hair.

A BURGLAR broke into a pensioner's house through the back door - and stole £7 and a bus pass.

The thief who struck at around 11.30am on August 4 at the house on Lyndhurst Drive, Ashton, was a white male aged 19-20.

He was 5ft 7ins, with mousy hair and a goatee beard and was wearing a blue cap, jeans and trainers.
