SAFETY will be paramount at next month's Leigh Festival and Canal Rally.
And, to make doubly sure, St John Ambulance Brigade is the latest organisation to join in the fun event.
Festival Co-ordinator Alan Jones said: "The organisers recognise the importance of the safety and well being of all the visitors to the festival.
"We are also pleased that the police cadets and specials are joining us to enhance our security arrangements."
