I'VE had a wonderful idea! How about John Blunt for President?

As he is completely without class, limited in vocabulary, totally lacking in compassion and devoid of finesse, he would be the ideal candidate to oust the family he so obviously despises.

I'm sure William and Harry will be delighted to receive Blunts' distorted interpretation (LET, September 10) of their mother's legacy.

They'll applaud the jibes against their father and grandparents who kept them at the Balmoral 'bolthole' away from the prying eyes of a hostile press.

They'll be ecstatic that their father's unassuming work with the young and poor through the Princes Trust is really of no account.

They'll be content that the Press are 'hunting' their father now that their mother is no longer easy prey.

And they'll join with me in welcoming John Blunt as president-elect as sound economic sense, because tourists will flock to Britain from all over the world to embrace a common ignoramus.
