ROADS in the Shadsworth area such as Ailsa Road, Dunoon Drive and Rothesay Road are becoming known as death trap roads.
They are being used as short-cuts to beat the traffic on Shadsworth Road and the majority of people there have one or more children aged between one and five years.
Six days ago I was nearly hit as I was pushing the pram going to the local shop. My child is only four weeks old.
Blackburn Council, five years ago, put down gravel on all roads to stop cars speeding, but it has still not stopped. Already children have been run over by cars. What did they do? They put barriers on the ginnel ways. All we ask for is some speed bumps in the roads. What is it going to take? A child's life?
