I TOTALLY agree with the remarks of D Bullen (Letters, November 4). I think the majority view in this country is that we should be in Europe - not run by Europe. The EEC was the original basis - European Economic Community full stop.
Single currency means: Interest rates have to be uniform throughout Europe and will be decided by Brussels; Tax rates will have to be uniform throughout and will be decided by Brussels; Parliamentary democracy will therefore cease and we will be a state ruled by the European Commission.
