MINDLESS morons have once again struck at Atherton Cemetery, damaging and pushing over 17 headstones.
Police are looking into the attack at the Leigh Road cemetery which took place over the weekend.
The attack, on older gravestones, has angered local residents and police who have investigated a spate of attacks in the past 12 months.
Sgt Dave McLachlan of Tyldesley Police Station commented: "We are urgently asking for public help in tracking down the people who did this. Many of the gravestones were badly damaged and it is always distressing to the loved ones of those whose graves were attacked."
