BEING made redundant opened a new door of opportunity for Jackie Warwick.
Jackie, of Barrowford, launched her own business, Pendle Medical Supplies, after losing her job last year.
The firm, launched the business under the FIrmBase business start-up scheme run by ELTEC, supplies specialist bathing and handling equipment to hospitals, care homes and schools throughout the North West.
"The book-keeping and marketing help was excellent and the standard of advice I received was second to none," said Jackie. Coupled with plenty of support from my family it has helped ensure that my business is a success."
