A BREWER is toasting a new deal struck with a pub chain. The Whitbread Beer Company, which includes the Samlesbury brewery, has signed a supply agreement with Avebury Taverns which has 200 pubs in the North and Midlands.

Under the deal Avebury Taverns will stock Stella Artois, Labatts or Heineken along with Boddington and Murphy's.
