ST HELENS snooker wizard Wayne Brown begins his challenge for World Championship glory on Monday, January 12. His first-round opponent at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, is former world number three Dean Reynolds. Victory would see Wayne play again the next day against Alfie Burdon, of London, or Welshman Mark Bennett. And success in that game would set Wayne up for a showdown with Merseyside rival Rod Lawler in March. At stake is a place in the finals at the Crucible, Sheffield.
