ONCE again, the people of Darwen have helped us achieve results beyond our wildest dreams as the £16,500 raised in 1997 for cancer research exceeded the previous year's total. This marvellous support is down to a team effort
And those who deserve a special pat on the back include the people who unstintingly work all year round to organise and administer the various events in our calendar.
But without the support of people attending our events, buying items, and making donations, our efforts would be in vain.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 1998.
